Welcome to Mystical Bullmastiffs where our dogs are part of the family.  We are located in Covina, CA in the wonderful San Gabriel Valley.  We have access to wonderful hiking areas which the dogs love!  We enjoy spending time with our dogs, whether it be at the show, park, beach or a lazy day at home.  After we fell in love with our first bullmastiff, we started volunteering and fostering with rescue, then we moved on to showing and eventually breeding.  

We are not a Breeding Kennel and when we do breed it is solely for the purpose of keeping a puppy for ourselves to continue The Mystical line. Our dogs are our life not our living. They are our family companions and reside in our home.  All puppies are micro chipped before leaving our home, and sold on spay/neuter contracts with Limited Registration.

Buyer Beware

This is a great site to learn from, please read it before deciding on a breeder!

The bullmastiff is not a dog for everyone, they can be dog aggressive and they are a Guard breed, so please, do your research both on the breed and with the breeder you choose! 

Beware of breeders that breed many litters every year, ask for references, will that breeder be there for you years down the road, or will they suddenly have no time for you after your check clears?  Talk to as many breeders as you can, not just those in your area.  Ask to see proof of health testing, and remember, "Champion Lines" doesn't always mean what you think!  How far back are those champions??  Lots of websites are geared to make the unknowing public think its a great kennel, again, ask around!  Free shipping?  Hmmm, they are most likely mass producers so they can afford it, rethink your decision!

Another "gimmick" that is used is for the "breeder" to tell you they aren't breeders, but "We just had this one litter...."  I don't know how many times I've heard that one, yet it seems every year or so, they are "just having the one litter".  Stick around in rescue long enough, you hear all kinds of things and see dogs from certain places like this pop into rescue frequently.  Be advised as well, these are not people that are going to be there for you for the Life of the dog, nor are they usually willing to take that dog back! 

What ages are they breeding their dogs at?  Most responsible breeders wait until their dogs and bitches are Fully mature before breeding them, that means 2 years old! 

In the United States if a dog is not registered with the American Kennel Club, United Kennel Club, or Canadian Kennel Club  There are now many, many so called "Registries" that people are using for dogs that are not legitimate, but so they can sell them for thousands of dollars as a "pure bred"! 

Are the dogs listed as "American Bullmastiffs"?  These are Mutts!  Basically they are a cross between a pure bred Bullmastiff, and a pure bred American Bulldog, or some other breed, they claim the dogs have no drool, sorry all dogs drool!!!  There is no real, respectable registry that has acknowledged them as a "Pure Breed", they are just one of the many mixes out there that people are attempting to create, and all they are doing is adding to the shelter populations!
